Getting Started

Installation

1. Download the latest .dmg file from the releases page
2. Open the .dmg file and drag Audexis to your Applications folder
3. Launch Audexis from Applications

First launch: If macOS shows a security warning, right-click Audexis and select “Open” to grant permission.

Requirements: macOS 10.15 or later

Welcome Setup

On first launch, choose your preferences:

• Theme — Light or Dark
• View — Folder or Simple list
• Columns — Basic or Detailed

You can change these anytime in Settings (⌘+,).

Import Files

Individual files: Press ⌘+I and select your audio files

Folders: Press ⌘+Shift+I and select a folder

Supported formats: MP3, M4A, MP4, FLAC

The Interface

• Sidebar — Import and workspace controls
• Table — Your files with editable tags
• Columns — Click to sort, drag to reorder, resize by dragging edges
• Save Bar — Appears when you have unsaved changes

Basic Editing

• Click the file you want to edit
• Type your changes in the respective input field in the sidebar
• Click Save in the save bar

Tip: Select multiple files (⌘+Click) to edit them all at once

Essential Shortcuts

• ⌘+A — Select all
• ⌘+F — Find
• ⌘+S — Save changes
• ⌘+, — Settings
• Esc — Clear selection
